Since the 1980s, with the rapid development of information technology, enterprising activities have become increasingly active all over the world. As a group full of innovative spirit, college students would not like to fall behind. The First Contests of Commercial Planning held by Austin, a branch school of Texas University, USA in 1983 marked the beginning of global college students participating in enterprising activities. Influenced by social economic system and traditional concept, Chinese college students started their enterprising activities later. It was not until 1998 that the First College Students Enterprising Contests were held and it marked that Chinese college students joined in the group of entrepreneurs. The meaning and role of college students taking part in enterprising activities has come to be acknowledged by the society. In China, however, the theoretical studies of college students enterprising activities are far behind its practice. As a result, college students have no theoretical guidance to turn to when they are engaged in such activities, which makes a activity full of risks originally even more difficult. Among the difficulties, the most serious ones include: when should college students begin their enterprising activities? how should they solve the conflicts existing between studying and enterprising activities? what form of enterprising activities should they take? and etc. Therefore, researching college students enterprising model is practically significant to solve all these problems existing in college students enterprising activities. This thesis can be divided into four parts. Part one ,in the light of present conditions facing China, sums up the characteristics and intentions of Chinese students enterprising activities. Part two locates the problems existing in Chinese college students enterprising activities and analyses their causes by choosing the USA (where college students enterprising activities originated earliest and develop best) and South Korea (where college students enterprising activities started almost at the same time as in China, and whose culture is homologous with that of China) as samples to make comparisons between them. Part three summarizes the factors influencing college students enterprising activities. Part four offers three types of models in terms of timing: part-time, drop-out and after-college; it also offers three evaluation models targeted on the above three types of models, which evaluate the three types of models by means of level analysis. Finally, a conclusion is reached: in the present condition in China, after-college is the best model. The main body of college students enterprising activities is the particular group of college students. Starting with the origin and development of college students enterprising activities in China, this thesis summarizes the meaning, motives and characteristics of college students enterprising activities with combining theories of applied psychology, administration, economics and my personal working experience. Therefore, it makes theoretical preparations for the following researches which have to take into consideration present condition Chinese college students are facing.College students enterprising activities started about 15 years earlier than in China. They have developed into a relatively large scale and have made great contributions to domestic economic development and talent training. Because of this, we should draw on the advanced experience of foreign countries selectively. This thesis chooses Korea and the USA as two compared objects and finds out the in-depth problems facing China now. They are difference of traditional concept, difference of economic developing stages and undevelopment of soft environments. This thesis goes to analyzes the factors influencing Chinese college students enterprising activities internally and externally, hoping to find enterprising models suitable to Chinese college students with consideration of the existing problems in China now.
