| Along with the development of the network economy, the interior environment and the exterior environment in an business organization have been changed greatly. As a result, the business organization will have to perform relevant change to survive and develop in the new situation. This thesis firstly introduces the meaning of business organization change and its general motivations, basic processes and models, together with the necessities of the change under the network economy environment. Beginning from the structure of the business organization, the thesis probes into the direction and methods of change, respectively from the strategy, work process, structure, personnel and culture points of view. The strategy is the business organization's value guide and action rule. The traditional strategy based on positioning, resource and competition are not so effective any more in the network economy. The business organization should construct new strategy founded on the customer relationship, cooperation and uncertainties. In order to realize the strategy change, the business organization must change the present work mode and work process which emphasize the division of labor and aim large-scale economy and build new one that stressed market and customer satisfaction. Business process reengineer is the chief method to perform the work process change Meanwhile, the structure of the business organization should be adjusted to the new work process in order to realize the strategy change. And the network organization is the appropriate choice for the structure change. The basic change measurements include decreasing the layers of the organization, establishing the work team which will follow the work process and orienting market. As changing the strategy, the work process and the structure, the personnel, the most important element in an organization, must be influencedinevitably in the fields of position, mind, quality and behavior. So the business organization should guarantee these changes by some necessary methods. Finally, the business organization will have to insure the fruit of the change by means of changing the organization culture, in case of coming back the organization's original state. The organization culture change can be sorted into three types, that is, the whole-scale culture change, the group culture change and the individual culture change. The business organization can choose the most suitable one according its present situation. |
