The Study On Efficiency Of Supply Chain Management And The Enlightenment To Corporations In China

The concept of Supply Chain Management has been widely concerned in the world, but in the past years the foreign study attentions are mostly paid on the Supply Chain's operation level, that means to deal with the operational efficiency of corporations in the Supply Chain from the micro-level, so the study emphasized on the technical and quantitative analysis. In our country, the study of the Supply Chain just starts in recent years. With the scope of the Supply Chain Management from the inner of the corporation to corporations, the emphasis of the Supply Chain Management's study has expanded to the coordination among all allied corporations in the Supply Chain, namely, expanded to the medium-level. Until now, the study of the whole operational efficiency of the Supply Chain Management has not yet deeply expanded. So, the writer thinks that there is a necessity of a whole analysis and evaluation to the Supply Chain Management operational efficiency, partly attempt to make a supplement to today's related theoretical study from the angle of system, partly want to use the objective efficiency analysis to direct the development of our country corporations' Supply Chain Management.This paper expanded on the natural logic of the Supply Chain's forming, developing and operation. The paper firstly summarized the backgrounds of the Supply Chain's forming and developing from the evolvement and development of the relations among corporations, then analyzed today's study focuses and trends. Because of the complexity of the factors that effect the efficiency of the Supply Chain's corporations' operation, the writer used some principles in the core competitiveness theory and the contractual costs theory of the New Institutional Economics to explore the Supply Chain's whole operational efficiencyfrom the competitiveness and cost sides in the main part of the paper, and discussed all influencing factors in the two sides in detail. The innovation of this paper lies in: The author gives a systematic analyzing frame, and analyzes the overall operational efficiencies from this competences and costs, furthermore, finds out some influencing factors, finally constructed a set of quantitative judge indexes for the competitive advantages, which are used to work as a reference to judge and improve the corporate competences. At last, the author draws to a conclusion: according to the result of the efficiencies, the necessary choice of modern enterprises' developmental strategy will be the Supply Chain mode and not the vertical mode. And provides a series of measurement for the use of the Supply Chain in our country.
