Studies On Competitiveness Of Farm Product In HuNan Province

After joining WTO ,facing intense international competition ,it is very important to improve competitiveness of farm produce in our country . Hunan province is a big agricultural one .market competition will have great impact on its agriculture .the impact mainly lies on following aspects such as agro-yield , farm produce export,agro-management system ,agro-orgnization form and agro-population .There are many factors to influence the competitiveness of farm produce . As far as farm produce is concerned , the cost of produce is cheap ,the quality is fine ,the goods of supply is stable ,the value of supplementary of produce is super and so on . all of them are the competitive advantage . at the same time ,competition policy and other economic policies such as industrial policy ,educate policy ,science and technology policy influence competitiveness.Basing on the theories of competition , the dissertation discusses the competitiveness of farm produce in Hunan, and suggests to improve the competitiveness by setting up the agent of market management, decreasing the cost of farm produce, adjusting the protective policies of government and innovating farm produce.In this dissertation ,the author put forward several opinions on theories and analytic methods as following .(1)Optimizing the rural industrial structure by using theory of rural economy gray system. (2) using the successful protective policies of other countries to form the agriculture protective system in our country .
