Study On The Increase Of Farmers' Income

Increasing farmers' income and keeping social stability are two important matters decided by State Council as a whole, and of two, the growth of fanners' income not only affects the improvement of farmers' living standard ,but also is the important prerequisite of the rural economic development, the important base of the national economic development and the important ensure of political stability and social tranquility .If only farmers' income increases, farmers' interest of investing agriculture can be improved, the growth of farmers' consumption can realize smoothly the state's policy of enlarging the domestic want, and the rural,urban stability as well as that of the whole society can be kept.However, the situation of farmers' income is not optimistic, and increasing farmers' income is becoming a problem that we face at present. The article is divided into three chapters to study how to increase farmers' income.The author remarked individually the situation of farmers' income, the causes of slow growth of farmers' income, and the solution to increase farmers' income in the three chapters.The first chapter consists of three parts. In the first part the author analyzed mainly the tendencies and the charateristics of the development of farmers' income since the execution of the reform and open policy ,and the author argued that: the farmers' income inceases in fluctuation, it appears the increase of the stage nature, the increase of the proportion of the currency income, and the increase of rewards of rural households. The second part drawed a conclusion that the farmers' income and consumpition are inferior to those of the citizens through comparison between the income and consumpition of the farmers and those of the citizens. The third part discribed the income' gap among eastern ,middle and western regions is enlarged continuously through looking back the change of farmers' income among them . And the rural economic development structure of fast eastern region and low western region is difficult to change becaue of the difference of the base for development, the investment and the labor's quality and so on among different regions.There are three parts in chapter two. In the first part the dissertation analyzed the historical causes of the farmers' low income .The author thought almost all the institutions and policies, for example, inclining to industry and binary structuredon't exist now, but they had historically reduced the farmers' income and inevitably affected the following income' growth. In the second part the author analyzed the macroscopic causes of low increase of farmers' income. They includes the decline of the product price in market because of the change of the supply and demand structure, the relative low interest of agriculture and the irrational rural industrial structure, the high product cost caused by the low level in the agricultural science and technology and by the low labor productive forces, the reduce of the utility of the systematic change caused by demand ,the absence of the agricultural developmental stamina owing to the inadequate investment ,and the fanners' overburden .In the third part the author analyzed the microcosmic causes of the low increase of farmers' income . They contains the low level of agricultural organization, the difficulty encountered by township and village enterprises, and the inferior quality farmers and so on.The third chapter is divided into five parts. In these five parts of the third chapter, the author analyzed in detail how to increase effectively and steadily the farmers' income. The new charateristics decided that increasing the farmers' income is a systematic project in the new period . We need do a lot ,and all kinds of work is contained and drived each other. Especially, after China's accession to the WTO, to increase fanners' income , we need consideration for not only domestic state ,but also international situation, we need attach importance not only to the present , but also to the future, and we should excavate the potential...
