| Zhangping Power Plant(ZPPP), founded in 1986, backed with local anthracite coal as main fuel, at max capacity of 4X100MW, is a subsidiary of Fujian Electric Power Corporation Limited, class II enterprise of the national. In 2000, it passed the examination by State Power Corporation and became a ranked 1st power plant of China power line.Presently, it is crucial for continuous operation of ZPPP. First, the equipments is worn and technology of performance is relatively out of date, and over burdened with inefficient and surplus personnel. While, It is facing ferocious competition with more and more modern power plants added into Fujian Electric netting, which with integrated automatic system, operate at higher efficient and larger capacity.Second, national policy on energy regulation and environment protection becomes more stringent. This versus the opportunities may offered by system reforming on power line. More or less, there are opportunities with challenges to ZPPP.The article applies theory and methodology of enterprise strategy aanagement, proposes the developing strategy in another 5 to 10 years base on profound analysis of the enterprise's historical state, and circumstance condition.The article comprises 4 chapters:Chapter I focuses on historical and present state of ZPPP. Point out dominating questions on working and development of the enterprise,with background of power line, presents scheme conceived on enterprise strategy.Chapter II analyzes interior and exterior circumstance of the enterprise profoundly. The analysis of exterior circumstance including national policies on energy and environment protection, present status and trend of power line, and the consequences may have been brought about by the power line system reforming which is about to put into practice, present status and trend of Fujian power line and some other important plants in the province.Interior analysis is mainly on performance technology, working status and financial condition, organization construction and human resources management, and diversified operation of ZPPP.Chapter in conducts SWOT analysis on ZPPP applying theories of enterprise strategy management and managerial accounting.
