Mechanization Profit Portion Estimation In Agricultural Industry In Hunan Province

Profit Portion estimation for the mechanization in agricultural industry is useful to understand the development level, potential, trend of agricultural mechanization for government strategic decision-making.Based on the method of Cobb-Douglas production functions, the mechanization profit portion in agricultural industry in Hunan Province was estimated quantitatively from 1994 to 2001.During the estimation, the thesis got the regression model by using Visual Basic 6.0 version because it is difficult to get the coefficient of every factor' output elasticity. Then the mechanization profit portion in plant products industry in 2000 was estimated by another method of a comparison between mechanization and no mechanization. According to the characteristics of Hunan Province, factors analyses were used to analyze the mechanization profit portion. By applying the prediction methods of time-order analysis and the gray system theory, based on the data of statistics from 1990 to 2001 and combined with qualitative analysis, the prediction models of gross output value of agricultural products industry and of major agricultural production factors in Hunan Province were built and their prediction from 2002 to 2010 was made. Then the mechanization profit portion in agricultural products industry in the province was estimated.
