Factor Method In The Study Of The Agricultural Land Grading

Land plays a critical role in mankind material life. Only to know the land quality well, we just can make good use of land and gain greater benefits in economy, society and environment fields. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the land quality with scientific methods.In this paper, it studies the rank of agricultural land with the factor method.This thesis includes four parts:Firstly, it expounds the development of the work in classifying the agricultural land and the reason of using the factor method.Secondly, the paper defines the agricultural land and its characteristics, and expounds the connotation and principle of the agricultural land's classification, then introduces the methods which are commonly used in this field.Thirdly, the author discusses the theory basis and technical route in applying the factor method to classify the agricultural land.Finally, the thesis recounts the essential procedures in classifying the agricultural land with the factor method. This part which is the emphasis includes eight aspects, such as choosing the factors of ranking reasonably, defining the weight of every factor, etc.
