Within recent years, many shipping enterprises have advanced the idea of capital operating and done some research work. Some have got encouraging achievements. They are able to outspread with low cost, activate their assets and increase their market share. Value of their assets kept growing despite of the global depressed shipping market. However, capital operating in many enterprises didn't come out as satisfaction. This dissertation summarizes basic theory of capital operating in shipping industry, analyzes the existent problems and advances some strategy with an actual case. It mainly aims to give some useful ideas for capital operating.This dissertation clears out the definition of capital and capital operating, focuses in the basic theory and analyzes the application of the theory in shipping enterprises according to the actual capital operating in our shipping enterprises. It summarizes the achievements and problems and forwards some strategy based on a case of capital operating.
