Research On Pension Accounting In China

As China has more elder and has to face the press to provide for the aged,the retirement pension system should reform from current pay-as-you-go system to funded system which is composed of defined contribution system and defined benefit system in China.To adapt to the reformation of retirement pension system ,the enterprise should regenerate the pension accounting.So,it has very strong practical importance to research on pension accounting in China.As the western countries do the earlier reformation of pension system and get good effect,they have rich research and practice experience in pension accounting . So,the text talks about the variation of pension system in western countries firstly,and then expounds the interrelated regulations of International Accounting Standards and FASB,at last ,discusses the pension accounting in China which are integrated with the reformation design of Chinese pension system.The conclusions are:1.To deal with the essential pension plan and complementary pension plan separately;2.To utilize the capitalized-method to dispose the funded system of defined benefit.
