A Research On The Theory And Approaches Of Venture Capital Management

Venture capital (VC) has been discussed much more in the fields of technology,financing and factoring in recent years. From its beginning,VC has been recognized rapidly by many countries of the world because of its promoting the development of technology industrialization. Research on VC in the high-tech field can adjust the industrial structure,improve the growth of economy,and enforce the total national strength,which have been very important to our national economy. In spite China has done some initial try about VC in the past over ten years,there's still much more left to be done both in the macro level and in the micro level according to the VC's development of foreign countries. Therefore this paper,by analyzing the VC's situation & problems in our country and discussing the basic theory & approaches of VC management,builds the operating process of VC management,which is formal and useful in some degree,and develops some tactics including project selecting,financing strategy,operating of organization,withdrawing and acquiring VC etc. The framework of the paper is as follows:1st,introduction. It contains the development of VC,status and trend of VC overseas.2nd,the basic theory of VC management. It analyzes the characteristics of VC,principle of VC and the three stages of VC.3rd,status,problems and causes of VC in our country. It discusses the recent development of VC in China and several problems existed,finds some causes for the problems.4th,operation and withdrawing of VC. From the points of investor,it expounds some viewpoints of seeking project & evaluating,financing & project management,and means of withdrawing.5th,strategy of acquiring VC. From the points of venture company,it focuses on the basic process of financing,and brings up some tactics.6th,case study of VC. From the two sides which are investor and venture company to discuss it is essential for VC to develop high-tech industry.
