A Research On The Ship's Registry System

Ship's Registry System, as an ancient legal system, has been gone through many changes for long period and still keeping developing today. With the consummation of the relevant international legislation, the field adjusted by the ship's registry system has been richly enlarged, from the traditional ship's flag registry as well as the ship's ownership registry, to the registries relating to items of ship's finance and operation, such as ship's mortgage, ship's bareboat charter etc.The thesis, which explores the ship's registry system, following the newest international developments and combined with the reality of our state, does the foresighted research on some new types of ship's registry system, such as the registry for the ship under construction, registry for the sunk ship, offshore registry as well as the international registry, with the purpose to be referenced by the relevant legislation in our state.
