The Image Of The Prophet In Canxue's Stories

Canxue's works is a unique presence in curent China. She was praised as China's Kafka, and owned a high reputation at home and abroad. Therefore, her novels have become the literature textbooks at Harvard University, Cornell University, Columbia University and Japan University and so on.In Canxue's opinion, to explore the Kingdom of the human spirit is a kind of breaking through layers of reality constraints, and the relentless struggle for nothingness "breakout performance." Through such "performance", the process of life itself will not only be able to demonstrate, but also the human spirit be unlimited depth. In Canxue's stories, the main characters image is higher than the normal figure, because of its characters a strong self-consciousness, awareness and indomitable rebel who know the guidance of the latter can be regarded as the prophet's image of these characters. Therefore, this article's "prophet," refers primarily to the number of detached more vulgar life of ordinary people, and most of them not only theriself pursuited of a higher spiritual realm, but also took the initiative in their own capability to accomplish the latter.Overall, despite the current study regardless of the subject xue implication, narrative structure, language style, ideological meaning, the modernist color and others have discussed the macro-and micro achieved rich results, but a number of important features, such as the complexity of characters implication in Canxue's works, pre-and post entries in the different characters, etc., have yet to be a further elaboration. Thus, these prophets in the image of the novel research perspective can enrich the study of Canxue and understand deeply the works of Canxue, but also be able to promote understanding of the pioneering literature and research.In this particular writing, this article uses " overall close reading " approach to the prophet's image as the research centers, read the specific texts, combined with the context, the author, and related texts such as to conduct a comprehensive study of macro-and micro-reading reading organically linked to a deeper grasp of Canxue's fiction. Overall we read through this article from the following dimensions to be studied and discussed: first, the paper will make an initial overview Canxue's stories, then presents the image of the Prophet; Secondly, this paper argues that the prophet's image is characterized by four aspects,, the prophets of adversity survival, independent, and persistent pursuit, and the lonely consciousness; again, combining text and works to explain why the reasons that causes of the prophet's image. In this paper,we think that Canxue's experiences, dissatisfaction with the reality and traditional culture and contemporary literary creation have great relationships; Finally, the paper will outline the meaning of the prophet's image, as well as related issues.
