This survey is based on the jounior middle school students,it wants to explore the problems when students study English.And it studies the relations between jounior middle school students'social support,sense of self-worth and academic help-seeking. Through the investigation and analysis,we get following conclusions:1. jounior middle school students generally have a positive cognition about help-seeking,they can realize the benefits of help and have instrumental help-seeking deeds;2. There exist significantly influence on grade and gender to students'academic help-seeking. The students in grade seven have deeper cognition about the benefits of help-seeking than the students in grade eight and nine,they also adopt more instrumental help-seeking behaviors than others.Girls have deeper cognition about the benefits of help-seeking than boys and they also have more adaptable help-seeking behaviors than boys.3. Social support,self-woth have significant correlation with the attitude and the behavior of academic help-seeking .4. The use of support and overall self-worth can directly predict the attitude of academic help-seeking and acadenic help-seeking behavior. |
