As one of the core members of Gongan Literature Study, Jiang Yingke has aroused general interest of academic scholars. His life and literature works has been studied during the recent years. However, few people paid attention to his attitudes on the relationship between the Tang Poetry and the Song Poetry, which was the focus of the debates among different writers in the Ming Dynasty. Basing on the research of the acceptance of Tang Poetry, this thesis try to clarify Jiang Yingke’s attitude on Tang Poetry and find out how the early writers affect the latter ones.The essay is made up of introduction and main body, which includes three chapters. Chapter one generalizes the literature thoughts of Jiang Yingke, involving his main poetic idea Lively Dominance Theme. Chapter two discusses his attitude toward Tang Poetry, especially those of the Early Tang and the High Tang. In contrast of his attitude toward Tang Poetry, we will probe his arguments on the Song Poetry as a close of this chapter. Chapter three makes further study on the case how Jiang Yingke accept the Late Tang Poetry and the their relations in practice.
