Han Wei was born in a prominent family who was active in our mid-North Song Dynasty. He is a famous politician as well as a talented literator. He is naturally tranquil and indifferent to fame or gain. He began his official career because of his whole families held posts in royal government. He once worked for Ren Zong, Ying Zong, Shen Zong, Zhe Zong, and his official career culminated in his appointment as MenXia ShiLang. His work, "Nan yang Poetry" has 30 volumes, containing nearly a thousand poems. Chen Yan in Qing Dynasty had praised his poetry: "More or less, it is better than Wang and Meng's " . We can see that Han Wei's poetry has gained its position on the circles of poets in Song Dynasty. So, we should pay more attention to it.In recent years, academics have made significative studies on Han Wei from various points of view. However, the study of Han Wei and his poetry need to be lucubrated. In this article, we make a more comprehensive analysis on Han Wei, Han Wei's poetry and the relation between Han Wei and the circles of poets in North Song Dynasty.Chapterâ… tells about Han Wei's family background, life and morality. According to the history, epitaphs and chorography, we make a survey on Han Wei's family and political career, and particularly analyze Han Wei's morality.Chapterâ…¡tells about Han Wei's works and the relation between Han Wei and the circles of poets in North Song Dynasty. Han Wei lives across several literature periods of North Song Dynasty. He participated in the Literature Reform Movement actively, and had close contact to Qingli-Jiayou Wen Tan, Xining-Yuanfeng Wen Tan, and Yuanyou Wen Tan. By reciting Han Wei's intercourse with other poets, we outline Han Wei's changes in his poetic viewpoints, which reflect the evolution of the North Song Dynasty poetry, too. We also verifies Han Wei's "Nan yang Poetry"on the view of Version Study.Chapter III tells about the ideological contents of Han Wei's poetry. Han Wei's poetry is rich in amount and subject matter. In this chapter, the poetry will be distinguished into Couchang Jisong poetry, Youshang Yongwu poetry and Ganxing Shuhuai poetry. We will illustrate them by giving examples.Chapterâ…£tells about the art characteristics of Han Wei's poetry. Plain is the consistent goal of Han Wei's poetry. That is partly influenced by "respecting Du's style" and " composing poetry as prose" . So, this chapter will focus on the three facets.In the last part, we talk about the influence and position of Han Wei's poetry, and then explain the value of this study.
