Study On Historical Tv-series Of Director Humei

This paper reports a systemic study on historical TV-series of director HuMei. A detailed analysis has been carried out on her creative concepts and director style, moreover, a thorough research has been conducted on the video presentation of HuMei director style , try to find some experience and inspires suitable for the next development of Chinese historical TV-series.This paper is composed of five parts:The first part is a brief introduction on HuMei and her historical TV-series. The second part will explain the "new historicism" concept, including the background and content of the "new historicism", as well as the using of the "new historicism" concept by HuMei in her work.The third part is a brief analysis of unique perspective of director HuMei. First analyze the female perspective in the"man play", second her hero worship complex, third her exquisite detail, finally analyze her political view of nationalism.The forth part is an analysis from the HuMei director personal narrative point of her view, including the idealized characterization, subtle brush strokes in the grand art of narrative and how to reproduce the historical truth.The fifth part will analyze the style of HuMei director images showing, an analysis of her unique language of mirror image, fresh and bright space-time rhythm changes and the use of light and color.
