Mental health was the basic conditions for the students to successfully complete their education, train healthy personality, development in an all-round way to adapt to the needs of our country. But because of the immaturity of psychological and ideological, and the multiple function of society, family and individual, so there was high incidence of their psychological problems and being on the rise, Shown as maladjustment, disorders in interpersonal communication, great pressure of study and windage self-awareness. There is local characteristic in Chongqing, the youngest municipality, but there are still many problems about the Mental Health service system.In this study, 2200 students from 6 university or college and 3 Classification of Majors were selected using we used the method stratified clustered random sampling, and tested by SCL-90, PTSD-SS, SDS and SAS. Firstly, we summarized and analyzed the general mental health status of the students, and then made a concrete analysis of the emotions of depression and anxiety and PTSD to understand their characteristics. The results showed that,1. The junior class students'mental health was rather serious in Chongqing. The rates of psychological problems was 11.67%, and the rates concerning the factors of Obsessive-Compulsive, depression, hostility and anxiety are relatively high; at the same time, the problems about PTSD, depression and anxiety are common, the detection rate of the three problem were 11.47%, 25.60%, 24.96% .2. The male students'mental health was better than the female. We found that the female students'symptom of interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety and depression was more severe, but he male students'symptom of PTSD was more serious and should be given more attention.3. There hadn't significantly difference between the grades. Although the freshmen were more possibly maladjustment such as hostility and hostile, but their relationship was better and less bad mood; but simultaneously sophomore's anxiety and depression should be given more attention.4. We found that the difference of mental health is significant among the three professional categories of arts, science and medical. The medical students'mental health was the best, but the science and engineering students'worst.5. There was a higher consistency between the mental health and post-traumatic stress disorder. The pertinence between depression and anxiety was higher, and the suffering concordance rate was 7.98%.
