Filial Piety is one classic on the human relations and maxim, and occupies an important position in the traditional Chinese cultural system. It explains briefly and simply the Filial piety that all the ancients regarded as the fundamental morality. The ancient scholars called them the pool of Confucian Six Classics, and competed to conduct their research, but their views on some research were not quite the same.More the rulers of the Emperor like the tang xuan zong to annotate and promote the Filial Piety ,in order to help Filial Piety in the scriptures to their own cause and purpose of the rule. This makes the Filial Piety bring attention to a strong political connotation Both predecessors of the Filial Piety of what exactly is the purpose have, they are definitely alone, Filial Piety in teaching people to Filial piety of positive thinking, we should face up to these studies.This article, based on previous studies, aims to reinterpretation a number of outstanding issues in the history of Filial Piety. And refining, Filial Piety in a positive concept of Filial piety, for today the realization of a harmonious society to provide the theoretical basis and approach.Part I: The author of Filial Piety, and the time of completion.About the author of the Filial Piety, both ancient and modern people have made tests. There are as many as eight viewpoints, and all seem to be valid. This thesis evaluates four of the more influential claims and finally comes to its own point of view.About the time of completion of Filial Piety, this thesis will start from the ideology and content to infer its approximate completing time. Part II: The contents of the Filial PietyIn this part, the author mainly classifies and summarizes the contents of Filial Piety for people to gain a better understanding.Part III: Ancient Book of Filial Piety and New Book of Filial PietyFilial Piety can be divided into new text and ancient text. Ancient Filial Piety is the Filial Piety written in 22 chapters, which was got by Lugong King by destroying house of Confucius; New Book of Filial Piety is the Book of Filial Piety written in18 chapters, which was collected by Yan Zhi and was given to him by his son Yan Zhen. In the argument that whether the Ancient Book of Filial Piety or New Book of Filial Piety is the original, there is no consensus between the ancient and modern scholars. Based on the analysis of the chapter structure, content as well as individual characters of the two books, the thesis presents that the two is indeed one book and is unworthy of arguing about trivial differences.Part IV: Xuanzong and the Filial PietyFilial Piety were popular in the Tang Dynasty , Emperor of the Filial Piety zone can be said to achieve a high level . Emperor of the comments was received in the Thirteen Classics which was compiled by Ruan yuan., as can be a proof. But the Emperor's comment has a little unclear department.So this paper mainly analyzes the relationship between Xuanzong and the Book of Filial Piety from the following two aspects: Xuanzong and Guimen Chaper, XiaojingZhushu.Part V: History of studying Filial PietySince the Filial Piety was handed down, constant studies have been carried out in almost every dynasty. The thesis divides the dynasties into seven parts, namely: Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, the Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.Through the summary of the study on Filial Piety in each of the seven different historical stages, the thesis attempts to see how much the Filial Piety was valued in the whole ancient times.Part VI: The value of studying Filial PietyEvery classic becomes classic ,there is a reason. The studies about the Classical, whichever is positive thinking be inherited, this is more valuable.The thesis will analyze the value of studying Filial Piety from the value of documents and historical materials as well as social value.
