The Creative Mentality On Chitchat Of An Old Fellow In The Sun

In the mid-term of the Qing Dynasty ,"Chitchat of An Old Fellow in The Sun"is attractived by scholars for its distinct characteristics.Some scholars thought it as a miraculous novel,another degraded it no merti.The novel is the representative work of talent and learning show in Qing Dynasty.The author drew an analogy between himself and the protagonist.The novel is also one classic of the literati's mentality.There are three chapters.The first chapter analyzed the characteristic of the subject matter. It combined with talent and learning show, social background,the present climate of academic,and the author's personal experiences.The second chapter is the cultural connotation of the figure. In novel the protagonist was described as a mythological hero.The last chapter described the novel is one classic of the literati's mentality.I will draw on the theory of psychology to analyze mentality of the feudal literati. This part composed by three parts.One is the complex of emperor's teacher.The second is the complex of a saint.The last is author's "daydream".
