Merezhkovsky's works have been introduced since 1921. But the research for his works is not'hot', especially for his novels. This phenomenon can be ascribed to his religious subjects. At present the research for his novels is limited to writing skills, and has not been extended to other topics. So my paper is intended to fill a void. This paper focuses on the Antichrist in his three Christ-Antichrist novels, and at the same time analyses the relationship, such as influence effect, between Merezhkovsky and Nietzsche, in order that we can find some Nietzschean theme, such as Nietzsche's glorification of the pagan virtues in Merezhkovsky's novels. Thus the paper can expose the real intention of the author in this three Christ-Antichrist novels. In addition, we make comparison between Merezhkovsky and Tostoyvsky, and think over the real causes behind these differences. Ultimately we can catch the new ideas brought forth by Merezhkovsky. The paper is divided to 4 parts. The first part gives a brief introduction of Merezhkovsky and gives a general idea of Antichrist. The second part study the direct or indirect influences made on Merezhkovsky by Nietzsche, which have been reflected in Merezhkovsky's novels, and provide evidence for this. The third part introduces the influential relationship between Merezhkovsky and Tostoyvsky. The paper analyzes the differences between them and provide some expositions. The last part I will make a deep contemplation on what we have discussed, and conclude some ideas, which include praise and criticism.
