On The Practice Of Ecological Morality

Along with the rapid development of social productivity brought by the third industrial revolution, human's crazy pursuit of material and its consequences of excessive consumption of natural resources and setting off wastes into environment has greatly gone beyond the ecology's own dissolving ability, which results in a series of ecology problems such as the lack of natural resources, deterioration of environmental pollution and the ecology unbalance. The ecology problem has been increasingly a bottle-neck for social's further development and a direct threat to human's existence. Human, being the main body of ethics, should take the virtual responsibility of protecting the ecology. The reflection of the relation between human and nature is the clue of the paper. A radical solution to environmental problems calls for a sense of responsibility and an awareness of unexpected development. Human must take some measures to change traditional practice idea and advocate a new one which can meet the demand of modern times'development. New practice mode wants to attain an unity and harmony among nature, society and human.This thesis consists of three parts. Part one, the formation basis of Practice of Ecological Morality. In this part, the author makes a thorough literature review of traditional practice mode and points out its shortcoming. Its theoretical basis and concept definition is a kind of Metaphysics connotation which is made with the edification of modern environmental ethics and ancient ecological intelligence, under the theoretical guidance of Systems Science, Principle of Ecology and Science of Complexity, and the context of ecology philosophy. Ecological crisis refers to the destruction of the whole ecology chain due to human's excessive exploration and wasting on the natural environment and ecology system on which human live.This part points out the default of the traditional practice mode and deconstructs it. A new practice mode is put forward on the theoretical basis of principles of ecology, with the idea of maintaining the globality and sustainable development of ecology environment and attaining the final goal of the harmonious development of human, nature and society.Part two is the main body of the thesis. The author makes a rationality theoretical argumentation of the new practice mode. The purpose of this part is to analyze and build a basic theoretical form of Practice of Ecological Morality. This part analyzes and exemplifies the concept and describes in detail its connotation, characteristic and essence.In part three, the author elicits the realizing way of Practice of Ecological Morality. The author elaborates in detail the six concrete measures to conduct Practice of Ecological Morality, such as strengthening the education of ecology sense, realizing the shift to ecological human, advocating ecological consumption, realizing the ecological science and way of produce.Practice of Ecological Morality is the necessary way to ecological world. The new practice mode doesn't separate human and nature, but connect human, nature and society as a whole. The revolution of the concept of Practice of Ecological Morality must present world a magnificent and harmonious picture.
