The Yunzhong Country And The Dingxiang Country In Han Dynastie

The Yun Zhong area (Hohhot today)in Qin and Han Dynasties plays an important part on politics and military.It is not only the fertile soil where the Northern Nomads thrived,but also an important region for the frequent contacts,close communication,and strife conflict between the Central Dynasty and Hun.At that time,Yun Zhong and Ding Xiang and the counties belongs to them,plays different important parts in the Hun and Central Dynastys'contact,include strife conflict.Finding out the situation of Yun Zhong country and Ding Xiang country which locates in Hohhot and surrounding areas,is one of the important contents in studying History of Huhhot,North National History and Ancient Chinese History. About these two countries'related conditions,the senior scholars had already gained rich achievements,but there are still many unresolved problems,some also have debates in academia today. Such as the creator of Yun Zhong country and the time of creating,the locations of the countries which belonged to Yun Zhong,the reason of creating Ding Xiang Country,the research status of the locations of the countries which belonged to Ding Xiang,the location of Wu Quan country in Western Han Dynasty,it is actually Ding Tao county or An Tao country.They are all the problems need to be solved.
