The study of Subjective well-being is a long history. The domestic and foreign scholars have conducted many studies and discussion. Social support and self-worth are its important influence factors. This study aimed to investigate the state of subjective well-being of the deaf college students, and explore the relationship among social support, self-esteem and subjective well-being. The study can provide useful advises on improving the subjective well-being deaf college students.This study selected 300 deaf undergraduates in the Institute of Special Education, Changchun University, of which 160 boys and 110 girls. Campell's well-being scale, Social Support Rating Scale, as well as the Self-worth Scale were used for the study. The results showed that:1 The female deaf students has a significantly higher sense of subjective well-being than male deaf students. From freshman to junior students, their subjective well-being showed an upward trend, to the senior year declined slightly; junior students were in the highest levels of subjective well-being.2 The deaf undergraduates whose mother had a education level of primary school or below level, and high school had been impacted more highly than a education level of junior high school.3 The students of art had a higher subjective well-being than the students of science.4 Subjective well-being and its two components correlated significantly and positively with social support (in addition to the use to the support). Besides the support from parents, the support from the other family members predicted subjective well-being strongly. The same time, the various dimensions of self-worth are significantly correlated with subjective well-being.5 Social support through self-esteem affect the subjective well-being, while also directly affect it; the self-worth play an intermediary role.
