Isabel Allende's "The House of the Spirits" was accused the copy once published while Garcia wins Nobel Literature Award by "One Hundred Years of Solitude" at same year. Careful readers point out, both are about decline families in Latin America, stuff with vivid characters and sense of mysterious cases. "The House of the Spirits" appears strong feminism between lines, even Marquez praises of women but as a male writer he shows quite a little budding feminism while Allende, as a female writer, from aspects of modern women, present us a love hearted, socialized and professional modern lady in Latin America, this might be the unique difference between two books.
