Objective:To study the altruistic behavior and its influential factors of 9-11 rural pupils, to explore whether class psychological counseling can promote pupils'altruistic behavior.Methods:361 pupils from 11 classes were measured by altruistic behavior Questionnaire and Children Machiavelli scale (11 classes come from Beizhang, Nanzhang, Zhengjiazhuang and Nanwulao primary school in Wenshui county). According to the baseline survey of 11 classes,2 qualified classes were selected, one is experimental class and the other is comparative one. Experimental class was dealt with 12 times class psychological counseling, and the comparative class was taken no measure. After class psychological counseling, we will test both experimental and comparative class's altruistic behavior. According to the result of questionnaire, observation and the method of qualitative research tracking case to evaluate the affection of class psychological counseling. Results:The first part is investigation. The results show that there is gender difference in rural pupils'altruistic behavior. (P<0.01), female scores significantly higher than that of male in total, help behavior and donation, there is no significant difference in cooperation between them; There is no significant difference between single child and non-single child. (P>0.05); There is no significant difference between class cadre and general students. (P>0.05); there is difference in rural pupils'altruistic behavior among different interpersonal trust. The medium and high interpersonal trust students'scores significantly higher than that of low interpersonal trust students. The second part is the effect of counseling. After the counseling, the scores of altruistic behavior in experimental class are significantly higher than that in comparative class. (P<0.05); After the counseling, the scores of interpersonal trust in experimental class is significantly higher than that in comparative class. (P<0.01); After the counseling, the scores of anonymous donate envelope in experimental class is higher than that in comparative class, but there is no significant difference between them. (P>0.05). Conclusion: there is difference in rural pupils'altruistic behavior among different interpersonal trust. The medium and high interpersonal trust students may likely to do altruistic behavior. there is gender difference in rural pupils'altruistic behavior, female may likely to do altruistic behavior. By the comparison of comparative class and experimental class, and the result of case tracking, we infer that the way of psychological counseling in training class pupils'altruistic behavior is feasible and effective.
