The Research On Fan Han's Poetry

Fan Han represents the eleventh generation of poets in the Literary Family of Fan in Nantong. In his career, both the poetry theory of the family and the west new school in the late Qing Dynasty affected him. When his body and disposition grew up, his poetry turned to a higher level and had his own character. The contents of his poetry widely contain Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism and so on. The origins of his poetry come from the Fan Family and some famous people. The biggest artistic characteristic is"strange", while his poetry has gifted scholar's freedom and some deep thoughts. New Viewpoints of Woniushe on Poetry, the work about the poetry theory, contains the overall and flexible thought of times. It covers academic views both east and west. It makes innovations on his special and new opinions. Besides, Fan Han also made the view include overall and flexible, which means to tell people how to write flexible poetry. The most important thing is confirming a poet's own emotion.In the sepcial times, Fan Han's value sense, which was different from the normal, expressed his specific character. It's a communicating of his own thoughts, that is showed as the natural and fresh air of his true feelings in the poetry. This is his biggest characteristic. My thesis studies on Fan Han's poetry and theory, so that can not only connect the poetry thread and characteristic of the Literary Family of Fan in Nantong, but also be as a typical example in transform period from traditional literature to modern literature.
