A Study On The Histrian Comments Of SuiShu

The 53 historian comments are important parts of Sui Shu (the history of sui dynasty).It deeply reflects Wei Zheng's thought about history study,achievements on historical study and special historical theory. It also reflected and represented the historical and academic level of Sui Shu.Wei Zheng was a famous politician in Tang dynasty, who was an arch figure of Tai Zong emperor's political group.At the reign of Tai Zong emperor, Wei Zheng played an important role on all kinds of important events as a political counselor and decision-maker. Politically far-sighted, Wei Zheng assisted Tai Zong to make long-term plan and prevent serious faults. He offered 200 suggestions dealing with many complicated issues, which apparently benefit from his familiarity of history, especially the history of Sui dynasty, and introspection of the lessons taught by Sui dynasty.Wei Zheng's deep reflection on history experiences, especially the contemporary history of Tang dynasty, offered direction to the political practice of Tang dynasty and historical support to the establishment of political system and regulations.It is not an accident that Wei Zheng became a historian.His achievements on historical study related closely with his political experience.Wei Zheng's thought about historical study and achievements on historical study is precious cultural and academic legacy in the history of Chinese historical study.Based on the reason mentioned above, this paper was divided into three parts:Historical view and thought of historiography in historian comments. His purpose was to attach importance to human affairs and slighted destiny. The purpose was to show the understanding of major social issues and to show naive materialism of Wei Zheng. Of coures show the dialectical unity of the historian's view of Wei Zheng.Wei Zheng had the reference of historical thought. He analyzed major social issues of Sui Dynasty.
