This thesis analyses the phenomenon of aristocratic women's participation in politics in Zuozhuan.Chapter 1,Briefly presents the social background in which women participated in political affairs and tries to illustrate the social environment during the Spring and Autumn Period, such as the rapidly growing economy and political instability, as well as respect of mother in relics and cultural education, all that created various conditions for women's participation in politics.Chapter 2, A summary table describes all cases that involved women's participation in the political affair in details, and researches the table vertically and horizontally. In the last part of the chapter, the features and ways women participated in the political affairs are discussed as well as its motivation to seek the full view of aristocratic women's participation in government and political affairs.Chapter3, The influence of the aristocratic women's participation in political affairs, finds that those participation adulterate women's personal desires which made most historians highlighted chastity of women and conclude all the participation by female trouble. The aristocratic women's participation in political affairs make those men in power realized the subtle effects of female sexuality political affairs at the time, which deepened the slavery of women later.
