Objective To do an integrated and systematic research into the standards of mental health and to bring up new standards to deal with human's current problems including ecological crisis from the perspective of ecological psychology. Methods Studying domestic and foreign literatures to analysis ecopsycology and existing mental health standards, exploring the theoretical framework of the mental health standards in ecopsychology through theoretical studies. Verifying the framework via the evaluation of experts and certifying the validity of the new-formed specific standards. Content In the framework of ecological psychology theory, using an ecological methodology, supported by studies of ecological psychology in ecological crisis, the mental health standards in ecopsychology can remedy the defects in the existing psychological health standards. By integrateing various kinds of psychology theory, this paper proposes a framework of an mental health system in ecopsycholgy. Using this system to integrate existing mental health standards, at last forming a pattern of the mental health standards in ecopsychology. Conclusion Mental health standards in ecopsycology is a new point of view, which is important to integrating mental health standards and dealing with the ecological crisis and the mental illness. But the research is still at a heuristic stage. Innovation This paper proposes eight dimensions of "four-level & two-side" in the ecopsychological mental health system. On one hand, it summarizes and organizes the existing standards, on the other hand it have done a necessary complement to the natural factors. All of this have an creativevalue, and it contributes to the development of the mental health standard in ecopsychologyvia substantive exploration.
