| There have been numerous articles with themes of friendship in Chinese history. In Han and Wei Six Dynasties, many scholar have admonished the existing ways of making friends and advocated breaking off friendship,because of the changing dynasties, the aggravating contradictions in social classes and strengthening secular force. Therefore, such writings have unique esthetic value of literature and social significance. So far, the relevant researches on the articles of discussing friendship in Han and Wei Six Dynasties only focus on the famous writings widely read generation by generation and sporadically appear in the comprehensive study on some well-known writers. Thus do not give an overview of articles on friends. On the other hand, these reseaches does not explore deeply in terms of the macrography of the entire Han and Wei Six Dynasties. Based on the above-mentioned information, this paper will study the friendship-theme articles in Han and Wei Six Dynasties including prose writings on friendship, argumental writings on making friens and discussions on breaking-off friendship. In addition, it will combine the characteristics of the development in this period and explore the reasons of the ideology in this kind of articles, existing situation and the developing trends. Finally, it will compare some representative ariticles.
