Gender narrative is a kind of narrative about the gender story from gender perspective. It contains two connotations:gender perspective and gender narrative style. Their relationship can be mutual inclusion or "either A or B". Chinese classical gender narrative, whose viewpoint is male, is mainly about the gender relationship. The version mainly exists in folk narrative, in which the most outstanding one is The White Snake Legend. On one hand, it is the most completed and popular one, at the same time, it has its new version and variant in different times, especially in the modern literature and contemporary literature. On the other hand, it becomes a female story variant in Li Bihua's, who makes the story have a different gender narrative. So, is this case, it is valuable and significant to study the inheritance and variant of Chinese classical narrative and its features, as well as to think about the relationship between the classical and contemporary culture.
