According to the survey, the peer relationships of college students with visually impairment is not very good, especially their relationship with the healthy peer groups. The writer finds that: The influence of visual impairment is reflected by students'psychology and friends circle, as the inferiority and narrow circle of friends have negative impact on the peer relationships of visual-impaired college students.College students with visually impairment having cheerful personality or outstanding ability are easy to develop good peer relationships, while having depressed personality or weak ability are difficult to develop good peer relationships. Parenting style as autocratic and indulge types are not conductive to develop good peer relationships for visual-impaired college students, while authoritative type is favorable. The lack of peer interaction experiences, the concept of small group interaction and the fact that visual-impaired college students in the university can not accept physical education and rarely participate in group activities will have negative impact on their peer relationships.Network is helpful for the peer relationships of college students with visually impairment by expanding their companion scope and enhancing their awareness of active contact, but not conductive to their peer relationships in real life because of leading to their lack of real emotional experience of peer interaction. To improve the peer relationships of college students with visually impairment, the writer offers suggestions to college students with visually impairment, their parents and universities. College students with visually impairment should get rid of the trouble of visually impairment, optimize own personality and improve own ability; Parents should properly educate their visually impaired children, and create opportunities for their children to interact with peers;Universities should set up adaptive physical education curriculum for college students with visually impairment, carry out a variety of group activities in campus, focus on the spiritual and cultural environment of campus, and play an active role in campus network.
