Research Into The Narrative Poem By The Poet In The Nandu Period In The Song Dynasty

This article, against a special social background about the Nandu period, on the basis of the results of previous researches,makes a thorough inquiry into the whole situation of the narrative poems, and attempts to dig out its general picture and universial law in this period, in the light of mutual proof approach of assisting literature with history and complementing history with literature. The article is proposed to be divided into four chapters.ChapterⅠThe Collection and Collation of the Narrative Poems Around the Nandu Period. The text arrangement probe sets the time period of 60 years approximately, from the initial year (1101) of Jianzhong Jingguo in the reign of Huizong, in the Beisong Dynasty, to the final year(1163) of Shaoxing, in the reign of Gaozong, in the Nansong Dynasty. It chooses poets who wrote more narrative poems in this period, collects their poems and analyze them generally, divide them into different types and states their narrative poetic general characteristics.ChapterⅡThe General Introduction to the Narrative Poetry Around the Nandu Period From different angles of politics economy and culture etc. the text analyzes the general characteristics different from former dynasty——seeking reasoning, reflecting themselves, loving flattery.ChapterⅢThe Main Values of the Narrative Poetry Around the Nandu Period. This chapter includes four sections. Patriotism played sad music for the Vulnerable Times.The Sufferings of the People's Livelihood Transmitted World-Worried Responsibility. Reform and Innovation Gave New Birth to Poetic Arts. From the three angles above, the text analyses the main values of the narrative poetry around the Nandu period. The third part lays importance on LuBenzhong, ChenYuyi, who had abundant narrative poems, higher achivements and greatest impinge, organize and explore the poems with obvious narrative feature,and analyze briefly the effect that " flexibility style" (LuBenzhong poem creation theory, in favor of not only getting rid of exising principles but obtaining something) and "Jianzai style " (the way ChenYuyi created his poems, who is also known Jianzai) had on the narraive poem, as well as their motivation to it. The fourth part refers briefly to the impact and meaning of the narrative poetry during the special period.
