Scenario relations theory is a relatively important issue in the history of Chinese and western literary theory. In the western literary theory, scenario relations are a kind "empathy" relation of the prominent subject. However, in Chinese ancient literary theory, scenario relations is always to emphasize the bidirectional interactive relations of scenes and things in natural ways. Regarding this, the thesis uses the method of the comparative analysis. First, it collates the different understanding on scenario relations between Chinese and western literature theory. Then, it analyzes the reasons for the different understanding and proposes that the difference is rooted in the difference of philosophical foundation and ways of thinking in China and western countries. By doing this, it aims to have a clearer understanding on scenario relations in Chinese and western literary, so as to supply, strengthen and mutually improve the consensus on scenario relations.This thesis is divided into introduction, the main text and conclusion. The introduction summarizes the present situation of scenario relations'studying and simply inducts its problems. The first chapter of the main text generally tells the typical expression about scenario relations from western literary. It lists the relationship between subject and object (scenario relations) in the discourse of empathy and heterogeneous isomorphism. The second chapter induces the typical expression about scenario relations from the Chinese classical Literature.In addition, be summarized as the Book of Music (Yue Chi) in the scene relations theory, Lu Ji and Liu Xie's theory of situational relations, relations between the Tang and Song of various homes on the scene, the scene of Wang Fuzhi and Wang Guowei theory, and then it outlines and concludes, following this order, their general relationship. The third chapter analysis the differences and the reasons for the understanding on scenario relations between emotion and scenery in the scope of Chinese and western literary. First of all, it lists the differences of scenarios in three aspects:in the subject transference and the bidirectional interaction, thought definition and fuzziness, metaphor. Then, it analyzes the reasons on the basis of the difference of philosophical foundation and ways of thinking in China and western countries. The conclusion, the summary of the thesis, emphasizes the importance of communication and complementarity between Chinese and western literary.
