Time perspective refers to how a person cognizes, understands and feels time, which also includes the action or action inclination about time. Because people understands and cognizes time differently, the attitude and action based on it is so different.Achievement motive means that a person persues a task, which he attaches much importance to, and trys to make it perfect performance.As far as the students are concerned, their school achievement is impacted by many factors. Among these factors, there are some subjective factors, such as their attempt for good grade, the keenness for good grade. These subjective factors have something to do with time perspective and achievement motive. This research investigates the relationship among achievement motive, time perspective and school achievement upon vocational school students, and makes the following conclusions.(1)Diversity in time perspective of vocational school students is embodied in the following three aspects: Boys students hold a more negative attitude towards past than girls. Students from countryside hold a more negative attitude towards past than those from cities. Students of Grade two are more positive than those of Grade One.(2)Achievement motive of vocational school students varies wildly in the following aspect: boys are more scared of failure than girls(3)Both time perspective and achievement motive obviously connects with school achievement. Of those, persuing success, future, and past activeness have a positive relation with school achievement; while avoiding failure, present foreordination and past negativeness have a negative relation with school achievement.(4)Dimensions of time perspective and achievement motive can well forecast school achievement. The dimensions which possess manifest Regression Effect are: persuing success, future and avoiding failure, present foreordination, past negativeness and past activeness.
