A Study On Annotation To Gu Wangyan

Gu Wang Yan is a long novel written by Qujing Cao living in the beginning of Qing Dynasty, no sooner published in 1997 than interest many scholars and re-arouse their research enthusiasm. They research the novel from various angles, a full range, but lack slightly on the criticism. Dunweng Lin 's comment is not only understanding text deeply, the channel but also making some valuable criticism of the theory and deserving concern and study. This article aims to perfom a comprehensive and systematic research about the comment of Gu Wang Yan so as to collate the text of the deep excavation and the implication and criticism of ancient Chinese theory of fiction.The introduction briefly present the story's content, the novel's hand down, found and edition ,the current study results.The first chapter focuses on the writer's creative motives and reviewers'commenting motives. Respectively, from the "let out his hatred," kindness and punishing evil, entertainment the three aspects are discussed. The main point is that under the guise of punishing evil it is wrapped the disaffected sinking heart of the author and reviewer, and self-entertainment, entertaining is one of its main manifestations.The second chapter of the novel mainly analyse the theory of shaping the character and the concrete embodiment in the text. Gu Wang Yan comment theory put forward by both of the previous characterization of the inheritance and innovation. Commentary concerns the psychological description of characters, character names of homophonic and moral, and further enriched the theory of ancient Chinese novel criticism. With the same period compared to similar novel, Gu Wang Yan in criticism in terms of form and content are the other novels in the commentary to none.In the third chapter, it discusses the comment from the following aspects: value, function, the limitations. The value of criticism focus on the leaked information from the author and reviewer themselves, literature and other aspects of cultural values. The discussion of comment function is reflected in the issue of guide for the readers. Comment from the limitations focus on discrimination against women, promoting feudal superstitions, the object of the comment 's excessive praise.
