Research Of Philosophical Thought In University Students' Oil Painting Creation Since The Reform And Opening-up Policy

There are already more than 100 years' history since western oil painting was introduced in China. There are also nearly 100 years' histories since China University offers the course of oil painting in 20th century. BA painting is quite popular since the last decades of 20th century, especially in the period of reform and opening-up. Development history of students'oil painting in the art college in new China reflects China's political and social change and development. Most of the artist who flourished in painting circles and make great achievements were trained in Art institution since reform and opening-up policy. The exploration of oil creation in their college times has great impact on their lifelong artistic creation and becomes the beautiful sight in today's oil painting. The meaning which include in their works reflect university students' philosophical mind that can be find in paintings at that time. The value trends which they show in the oil painting in different stages reflect the change and pursuit of new China's national rejuvenation in ideology. Humanistic value and care which reflected in painting affect the development of China's oil painting.This research is aiming to gather the threat of mind changes in university students'oil painting since the period of reform and opening-up. It analyzes the factors of creative value changes in oil painting from the angle of sociology, humanity, philosophy and culture. It has its practical significance in booming university students'artistic creation in China. It makes a reference to university students'oil painting creation, and adds some theory of value trend of university students'oil painting creation.Art institutions across China began to recover recruit students since reform and opening-up policy in 1977. Students which recruited in this period are quite different whether in ages or culture structure. Most of them are educated youth who went down to the countryside in the Cultural Revolution. They still memorize the indelible life which they go down to the countryside in the Cultural Revolution when they go back to the university which they craved. They try to get the real feeling by painting, the feeling which they have lost before. So, they create large numbers of oil painting works which fill with thick humanities in their university. Universities students around art trend of thought in 1985 have passed through "85 New Wave Fine Arts" accompany reform and opening-up policy and the invasion of western culture and art. After spiritual baptism of Philosophical Thinking both in eastern and western and the new artistic form, universities students of this generation are quite different from previous generation who went down to the countryside. There is no mental burden on them. They eager for new artistic form and idea which make them stand out in the world. There graduate creations push the tentative reform forward in China's arts teaching and lay a foundation for the language and form of multiple oil paintings. After that, the features included in oil painting creation such as ideality, symbolism, expressiveness and the sense of indifference etc. make oil painting changes dramatically until 1990s. The oil painting creation of universities students are no longer Realist Paintings and Thematic Painting now. Both comprehensive university and private university set up Art Department accompany by the transformation of market economy and China's educational system. Fine Art becomes the new growth pole in college in 1990s. The styles of oil painting in this period reflect the shortage of oil painting teaching in China's high educational institution. China's high arts teaching used to emphasis on techniques but theory before, but now it pay more attention to theory but techniques especially ideas., what's more, the realistic painting has been dropped. Students'creative style in this period tends to be the object of it. Although there are various creative styles in university students'oil painting in this period, all the styles are under the same artistic style at that time.21th century is the information age that full of information and network convenience. University students in this period enjoy the stable and comfortable life which created by their parents. They care more about the personal development and personal value. Their values are affected by consumer market which bring by the marketing economy and values which created by money market. Times means money in this age, so they are pressured. Although they lived within the institution system, the out changes affect them constantly, which can be showed in their oil painting creation. As a sensitive and confused generation, they show their troubles and moods in their oil painting with different style and various means of creation. They often feel confused in the changed society although there are artistic glories in modern society. They flung into a dilemma in their oil painting creation. For one hand, they have to follow the realistic line and complete their task in painting as the student inside the system. For the other hand, they often lost themselves when they attract by the contemporary art.
