QiLuDeng, the novel of Qing-dynasty written by Li LÇœyuan, generally reflected Henan dialect in eighteenth century. It contained valuable material for linguistic study. This paper attempts to do a comprehensive investigation and study on the imperative sentences in QiLuDeng from the perspective of Chinese history.Starting from the syntactic form, this paper did a more comprehensive study and research on the imperative sentences in QiLuDeng. Based on the exhaustive statistics of various imperative sentences in QiLuDeng, this article focuses on describing and revealing their characteristics. The paper also start from the pragmatic, analysis the language force differential between different types of imperative sentences, and than analysis the influencing factors of the language force differential.In order to show QiLuDeng's value in Chinese History and it's dialect research value, we also compared the imperative sentences in QiLuDeng with that in HongLouMeng and RuLinWaiShi, which in the same period with Qiludeng, intending to reveal some of the attributes of Henan dialect and to establish its position in the Chinese history.
