The Study Of The Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting Under The Metropolis Mood

Since the beginning of 1990s, urban themes have been coming into the artist's vision gradually. Attention to the social reality has always been leading the artists'creative work, urbanization trends of creation concerned about the situation, life demands and personality tendencies of city people,who live in the present culture. Some artists understand the surviving hardships of contemporary urbanite, some highlight the contradictions in our real life, which is hard to digest, some satire vulgar thrown under the commercial tide, some praise the vitality in an open environment, and so on. Regardless of their attitudes towards urbanization is reconsideration or commending, we can not deny that the artists treat the life and arts seriously. The screen reflects their deep thinking of real life.Taking metropolis culture as the main entry point, this paper study the oil painting under urban space after 1990s, analyzes the contemporary Chinese metropolis oil paintings'expression on humanistic spirit, as well as a profound reflection to the real world, so as to discuss that the oil paintings should reflect the cultural conscience. Besides that, the artist's creativity and the intellectuals'responsibilities of the social and cultural knowledge have been contacted to explain the contemporary Chinese oil paintings need to stick to meet the cultural standpoint of the times and start from the real life to make creations in order to meet modern people's aesthetic interests and emotional demands.
