Study On Protection And Utilization Of Intangible Cultural Heritage In New Rural Construction

As one of the Four Great Ancient Civilizations, China has gone through a long time of farming civilization. In this process, based on the ground beneath their feet, our ancestor have created numerous excellent wisdoms, inheriting and innovating the glories of Huaxia nationality. Village, an important component of farming civilization, has developed vast intangible cultural heritage. As the hometown of hand papermaking industry, Beizhang village possesses a distinctive village pattern endowed with the papermaking technique and culture.In the impact of quick modernization and urbanization, the economic structure, life style and village spatial pattern of Beizhang village have changed dramatically, which has a close relation with the culture, society, economic development in China and has the similarity with the village development all over the country and its own individual characteristics. Firstly, with the declination of traditional papermaking's influence which is a significant development factor of Beizhang village, the historic culture features of the village is on the ebb. Secondly, in the process of quick modernization, Beizhang village lost many excellent architecture forms and lane characteristics. Thirdly, the existing papermaking workshops which have small range of activity and geographically scattered are not effectively protected. With the instruction of the method of regression analysis and system integration, and with the Beizhang village's culture development as a clue, I intend to analyse the integral pattern, architecture yard and lane space of this village so as to probe into how to make use of intangible cultural heritage of Beizhang village to develops the itself. Furthermore, on the one hand to continue its fabrics, and on the other hand to develop its special culture as well as strength the measures in protecting and inheriting and innovating the non-material culture heritage.The research content contains sections as follows:First, reviewing the history of Beizhang village, searching for the growth rhythm and cultural evolution of Beizhang village in all the eras and acknowledging the importance of hand papermaking culture to Beizhang village's construction;Second, analyzing the spatial environment traits of Beizhang village, sorting out the current situation and cause of village structural pattern, digging out the conjunction point between the spatial environment construction and the intangible cultural heritage, and figuring out the way of restruction of Beizhang village culture;Third, making sure the fundamental principle of construction. Based on the analysis of current situation of Beizhang village, integrating the existing resources to construct the village cultural image. Continuing the village culture and creating village spatial environment, making the best of construction pattern between the Beizhang new village and the intangible cultural heritage, and searching for the suitable road to protect the intangible cultural heritage and realize the modernization of the rural region.
