Xie Huilian is an important writer in the period of Southern and Northern Dynasties. He and Xie Lingyun were called as "Da Xiao Xie"in history, but also with Xie Lingyun and Xie Tiao were said as "the Three Xie". Zhong Rong in"Poetry" in praise of him"creativeness", "Be good at literature, the wind of them first."Xie Huilian, handed down even a small number of works, but are high quality.This paper uses historical research and comparative study, in line with Reflection of Life principle,by Xie Huilian with family background and life, honest thought, poetry works and in the literary history of the status and influence of the study, and Xie Huilian, with his works were more comprehensive and systematic comprehensive study. Paper consists of four parts. The first part describes Xie Huilian, with the family background and life. The Clan is both a political family and a literary family, Xie Huilian, even his date of birth,the family is at the pinnacle of literary and political life tends to decline in the era of his career thus full of hardships, but also cast many of his works in subtle language, a feature of the Desolate.The second part focuses on the Metaphysical Mind and Behavior of Xie Huilian, with Confucianism, Hermit advance and retreat of the thinking and behavior. The fourth part explores the history of literature of modern times on Xie Huilian and works, even review the situation and to further explore the correct evaluation of the Xie Huilian and poetry with the value and significance.
