Current study focused on its lack of predicting on behavior, test the validity of TPB. First,282 college students participated in study to conduct the reliability and validity of exercise self-efficacy scale and social support to exercise scale. Results showed that the two scales had good internal consistency and construct validity both will be used as a measurement tool in the following study. Then,325 college students from Shandong Province and Liaoning Province completed questionnaires to study the predictive power of the theory of planned behavior. The roles of planning, self-efficacy and social support on intention—behavior process were discussed. Accordingly to that, the additional variables were added to the theory of planned behavior model. Finally, based on the theory of planned behavior and the results of previous studies, an intervention on exercise behavior was conduct. The results showed that:1) Support was found for the TPB in relation to prediction of exercise intentions (F=96.104, p<.001) and behavior (F = 63.657, p<.001), edded 12.7% and 13.1%。PBC not emerged as a significant predictor of behavior.2) Planning, self-efficacy and social support contributed significantly to the prediction of exercise intentions (F change= 25.071, p<.001) and behavior (F change= 17.697, p<.001). 3) In the intention—behavior relationship, plan, two kinds of social support and self-efficacy were mediator. Simultaneously, social support from friends had a moderating role.4) Exercise behavior can be increased by increasing self-efficacy and social support. This study recommends the following:Families and schools should provide an appropriate environment for exercise that to promote, guide people to form a good attitude. Secondly, it is necessary to encourage the conduct of individual plans, family and friends should provide social support to promote the formation of regular physical activity, which can be expressed verbally, or participate. In addition, try to increase an individual's self-confidence, personal experience of completing the task, alternative experiences, verbal persuasion and education were effective method.
