Correlation Between Modern Oil Painting And Art Design

When drawing an oil painting, especially when I drawing with a strong passion, I should meet the confusion of the drawing following with the passion. The whole process was crowd with hard searches and bunch of difficulties. The oil painting holds one whole different language from others art category. Every modern oil painting artist encounter with different challenge, they need to find new way to express the emotion perfectly. In this continuous try and fail, I found the oil painting has lots of correlations with art design; even they are in quite different art category. We could find some new way to express our sincerely emotions in the encounter of art design and oil paintings. Here, we can find, test, keep on research for the more new progress in the drawing techniques for our sincerely emotion expression.There are three kinds of ordinary art design in our daily life. I make some contrast between the famous masterpieces oil painting and some remarkable art design results. The contrast begins from fundamental elements, such as the usage of point line and plane, to classify design. From the classical masterpiece of oil painting we can find several design elements, and analyses those phenomena dialectic. We can find that different class of art could infect each other and could find lots of direction result for our daily painting. Oil painting is not an industry production, but the painting process is a process to create just like design a new production, painter develop their painting style when they create in their creation painting. Painting and art design are all create a still result, they have made some remarkable results in their own domain at the same time, and affect our daily life. We are accept them at different aspect of our life, but there should be some correlation between them, and some element they could share in the work to make us feel better. And I want to find those sharing elements by oil painting and art design, to find some new way to make us express better in painting and design.The deeper we research about the daily art design elements, the more direction we could get in painting, and more possibly to make new progress. Practice is the stream of investigation. I went to sketch in mountain with my teacher every spring and fall. When we in the nature surrounding, the line of river and tree, the point of little house, and the wonderful amusing color make a wonder space before our painting cloth. And we should be puzzled by the problem"How to translate our feeling on the cloth, how to record the emotion at the delicate time?"I believe every person will share the emotion to create some masterpieces to express the reflection in their mind when he encounters this wonderful landscape. And he is always willing to break the routine way to painting them. Symbolic usage could be one choice. There are some fact about the symbolic usage in art design, especially in industry production, those symbolic is familiar by most of us. When we paint with our teacher, I found the original shape of branches of tree is just spread out, and some line could express them correctly and expressively. When we paint the tree that way, the consideration of light and shadow is not so important, the simpler shape always capture the emotion more correctly. Under this consideration, we could search in this way, try to make some different painting. Confined by the level, we may not approach splendid expression, but we couldn't make any research without the knowledge.When compare the correlation between the painting and art design, I focus some modern masterpieces, and reach my conclusion by some classical examples. And I got some results. In Huiling Ye's , Bo Peng's serious, Yi Huang paintingetc. painters organize lots of design elements in various forms in one unique structure. They break the classical painting method, by diorama color structure and their combinations to make a whole system. Both design and painting need to face the same space, the same media circumstance, and pick up the useful elements to break the traditional expression test. I believe it is just the progress of painting history. And the acceptance of the new form need quite time, and some of the test are failed to transport on. Like Wittgenstein saying"The most mystification is not what the world is but how it is to be."We are not so reasonable in the feeling about touched. And the most important is come from custom just hidden in our feeling; we are not always feeling it clearly. We have long history research in design and painting about how to make us feel better in everyday life or when we face some masterpieces. The cross work between design and painting could bring some fresh result, I am sure about it.Every kind of arts need long serious test, development, and the meaning of our research is to analysis the painting elements and design elements to find new results. For example, we could make more strong expression in painting by the usage of design elements, and the plane element could bring more material into the painting work. And the hue is not confined in the light and color, the plane drawing could strength by the delicate color, muscle, material. Certain subject could be painted by complex form and could be simplify painting by raw line and angles. And combine several unfamiliar elements in one drawing may brought surprise success. We are confined in our own life, we are limited creature of time and space, even in the exploration of art creation we are the confined creature in our daily expression. But we could make some fresh test.By analysis the masterpieces of eaten master's painting, and analysis the design elements in the modern painting, we propose a new test way for the ongoing painting. Along with the development the design elements are taken into the painting test, and make a new age.
