Purpose: It is a customary pattern that the teachers raise questions while the students answer in the Chinese educational history. This will do harm to stimulating students'interest in learning and inspiring their thinking.By raising questions, teachers can check the students'knowledge, adjust the classroom atmosphere, enhance feelings with them as well as draw their attention.Students should also take part in raising questions. They can find their own problems, know their strengths and limits in study for promotion and amendment, which can raise the academic and basic quality to a new level.Therefore, teachers should take new measures on raising questions to equipstudents with the thinking ways and approaches. This can enable students to look for questions from lives, experiments, imagination, books, classes as well as assignment, even from the comparison.However, there are some problems in the current questions in class. For example, a teacher asks students to answer the question together to pursue the lively scene. This is facially vigorous. In fact, it is devoid of substance. The teacher always asks Yes or No? True or false, just like some mantra, out of design. He asks a lot, but receives little effect. When he finds that some one is absent-minded, he asks questions suddenly in order to take this opportunity to improve the situation. After a long time, the students will be discouraged from joining in. The harm of such kind of questions is more than advantage, even better not to ask.Methods: Proper questions can improve the teaching quality of the teacher. Teacher Yan yongjin pointed out like this in his book—Alive Students'Minds-the Most Potential-Inspired Question in Class, we should pay attention to the effectiveness of questions in class as well as science, inspiration, creativity, moderation, timeliness, appropriation, and encouragement. Queations in class should be oriented, inspiring, analysis, launch of the series and comprehensive. The focus should be also put on the emphasis of knowledge and the text details. The way of questions in class should also be smart. Teacher Yan Yongjin summarized several ways of raising questions. Through analysis and reference, I concluded some best ones as follows, raising questions of Suspense-type, raising questions of discussion-type, raising questions with guiding, raising questions with creation of situation, raising questions with open minds, extended questions and associative questions.Conclusion: Educational psychology reveals to us that the thinking process of students often start from the questions. Learning comes from thinking while thinking from doubt. Teaching is just a constant process of guiding the students to raise questions and solve them.As a saying goes,'The starting point of thousands of invention is just a question'. This proverb has a great effect on teachers to grasp questions in class. Queations in class which are full of artistic can not only help teachers to successfully achieve teaching objectives and improve teaching quality, but aso help to stimulate creative thinking of students. Therefore, teachers should excavate the potential of effective class questioning in depth. Which is quite vital.
