The civilization and early countries formation of central plains region, has long been the most widely discussed issue in academic filed. There are lots of academic points of view, because of the different understanding of relative concept and argument method. However, Chinese scholars generally believe that Erlitou culture and social development has entered the national stage. Because of the lack of archaeological methods and old theories, previous studies focused on the cultural landscape discrimination, cultural type division and clan discussion. But the social structure and characteristics of their areas was relatively weak. So there is also a lack of detail of Erlitou's ecological and cultural background and development strategy.This article aims to explore the relationships between people and nature and between people and people, from the perspective of human settlement patterns, combined with site resources research domain and Thiessen polygon method, trying to glimpse the early national phase of social structure and social operation.There are four chapters in the article.Chapter 1:preface. A brief overview of the geographical features of Luoyang Basin, recalling precious archaeological research, in the end gives ideas and methods of this article, and the following studies.Chapter 2:landscape restoration and distribution of settlements. Trying to recover the geographic landscape of Luoyang Basin in Erlitou age, combined with the distribution of settlement situation, examine the natural factors behind the settlement distribution.Chapter 3:settlement pattern analysis. The study area is divided into Yiluo plain and downstream tributary areas Yiluo. Investigate Yiluo plain settlement patterns and the space downstream tributary area Yiluo's evolution characteristics of historic settlements.Chapter 4:Settlement control network model. Based on Thiessen polygon and site resources domain analysis, analyze the settlement control models of Erlitou culture, so to make some new interpretation of the problem, and then analyzes the characteristics of the early national phase. Finally, gives the in-depth analysis induction and consolidation of earlier results, to make the final conclusions.
