Yuexiang Shu was born in a literary family which was rich and had a big collection of books. Since started studying he was well educated and his life was well-off and stable too. He was involved into official career at his middle age. Because of Sidao Jia's malicious exclusion he resigned and went back home. At the last phase of his life, he experienced cataclysm of change and moved frequently and lived in poverty. He went through Song Dynasty's the rise and fall even perished from the history. He also witnessed the tragic Song to the course by the malaise. He was an important poet in the history of Song's literature. He created a lot and left a big amount of poetry. Through his poetry we can study the development of Song Dynasty's literature more and well. However, so far nobody makes special study of his poetry, which make us feel regret in the study of Song Dynasty's literature. This paper used fully of his poetry as the first-hand material and also took good advantage of bibliography and related documents, trying to explore his life experience and his poetry which named "Langfeng corpus" comprehensively and deeply. Also the author was trying to verify his place and influence in the history of Song Dynaty's literature through the contents and advocate in his creation.The structure of this paper is following:Introduction:To state Yuexiang Shu's social position and influence in Song Dynasty's literature and the present study situation of Yuexiang Shu, also the reasons why author has chosen this topic.Chapter one:Study of Yuexiang Shu's life experience. Based on the previous study this chapter will explore his life stories and social situation with his several important friends. At the background of the historical changes, though case studies the author try to verify the relationship between social flux and friends circle and his poetry creation.Chapter two:Shu Yuexiang's thoughts and poems. Yuexiang Shu's life thoughts and the ideas of poem creation can be traced to the same origin.Chapter three:The origin of Yuexiang Shu's poems and his poetry ideas. Yuexiang Shu and late Tang Dynasty are from the same strain, but also has difference from late Tang Dynasty in some points.Chapter four:The status and influence of Yueshu Xiang and his poems. To analyze his social status and influence in Song Dynasty's literature based on evaluations from previous people.Conclusion:The general summary of Yuexiang Shu and his poetry. He had a wide circle of acquaintance and had communications with many social classes through poems. Especially after Song Dynasty perished, he admired Du Fu a lot and wrote a big amount of poems with epic style. This gives us a better angle to learn the changes about that time, and also we can also pry the development vein of Song poems. In a word, Yuexiang Shu is a poet we should never ignore in Song literature's development. His contribution to Song's literature we can never be careless about.
