On The Qin And Han's Assassin And The Assassin Literature

Assassination is an important social phenomenon in the process of development of human history. Due to a variety of complex social reasons, the assassin appeared in large numbers in Qin and Han Dynasty. And it had an impact on later history and literature. Although the academic community on the Qin and Han Dynasty assassin was discussed occasionally, they are not systematic and comprehensive. This study will from the point of Xia culture, comb the assassin events of Qin and Han, Their origination and discuss the change of people's perspective on them. At the same time, we will combine the "assassin Literature" and "Xia culture", in order to analyze the performance of assassination in the Qin and Han literature, and summarizes the characteristics of this literature.Assassin originated in the slave society, but only in the Spring and Autumn period, the assassin has gradually mounted the stage of history. Intense political struggle is the root of assassins, the traditional ideology and culture also affected the production of assassins. The Pre-Qin assassin provided a historical paradigm for the early emergence of the Qin and Han. Along with the frequent assassin practices of Qin and Han Dynasty. New features emerged including mainly:professionalisation of identity, universalization of behavior and commercialization.of morality. Meanwhile the attitude of Qin and Han people toward assassination shifted from the praise of chivalrous spirit to criticism of its being a profit-making practice.Because of the impact of assassin on the Qin and Han people,and its effect on social life,there exists quite a number of descriptions in a variety of literature works. They focused on the history of mass literature, hybrid chronological novels, and miscellaneous prose poetry. Due to historical reasons, the assassin mainly recorded in history books, so there are also a lot of history books on the assassin's literary description. Ancient assassin literature mainly focus on Jing Ke, and other assassins as his subject. Some description of assassin were also found in the prose literature of the Qin and Han thinkers, and composed an important part of assassin literature. To sum up,there 3 characteristics of Qin and Han assassin literature namely,the heroic theme, legendary narrative and the pursuit of universal aesthetics.Being part of history and culture of Qin and Han Dynasty, Qin-Han Assassin literature will definitely have an impact on later generations. In this paper, two angles were chosen to approach the impact of it,Viz. the later Qin fiction revolution and assassin novel. The revolutionaries claim to learn from the spirit of Qin-Han assassins with the aim of achieving their revolutionary goals, but only to get tragic outcomes. On the other hand, from the ancient legendary novels of Tang Dynasty, zhanghui novels to the modern vernacular, martial arts and the fantasy novels and even to the film literature, assassin has been an important source material.This paper begins with description of Qin-Han assassin literature, with the purpose of "showing up clearly the generation of our knowledge", that is taking nutrients from ancient literature, and finally finding the slender way of gradual progression of modern Chinese literature.
