A Research On The Enumeration Of Modern Chinese

In this paper, based on the "Three plane" theory, we have a comprehensive research on the Enumeration of Modern Chinese for the first time. Through the words and expressions for the three sub-categories of enumeration in semantics, syntax and pragmatic functions, we can find the characteristics.Describing the enumerate conjunction is the focus of this article. We characterized them through the process of elimination as the conjunction, sum up their similarities and differences in syntax, and then we discuss their external and internal semantic relations from their own and the two parts of these two aspects, and further identify their preference; and chapter functions for their discussion on the textual function of the system is a good proof theory.Later, the discussion of the enumerate exclamation is the complement on the comprehensive study of the enumeration. We describe "la, ya, ah," the three words with enumerate point of view, they also have very unique grammatical function; enumerate deficiencies of their semantic function; and lively pragmatic functions listed them as a expression of their emotions with the most obvious words.We discuss the enumerate auxiliary based on the previous study. We advanced"zhilei"and"zhiliu"as"zheyilei"and"zheyiliu"the chorus into words, it is proved from another point of Zhang Yisheng's (2002) classification, while previous studies suggest, we believe that "zheyang de" is also the enumerate auxiliary, and surmised that "nayang de" is this class words, then will list the number of the enumerate auxiliary from the original 12 to the current 14.After discussing the three categories words, we will study a combination between them, the problem is not discussed before. From our study can be seen, the combination of the three words is intended to strengthen enumeration. Combination of these three words out of four greatest feature model is not reversible, so the actual mode of composition is three less than the theoretical model; by the four combination mode of expression, divided into "enhanced Synonym" and "synonymous with box enhanced" the two parts; also shown that the semantic function is to be listed or not entirely. Then we further found that the combination use of enumeration, with the enhanced strength of the frequency distribution, appears pyramid like and reverse development.The final comparison of the characteristics of enumeration in Chinese and English is a perfect article, and then proves that the enumeration of the Modern Chinese have a rich modern Chinese words, a various expressions of enumeration items, and a variety of enumerate ways, these are the Chinese in grammatical features, but from the use of English and Chinese in terms of the semantic or pragmatic are more consistent.
