As the "evergreen" in the contemporary female writers, Li Chi never gives up writing, like a tireless high-definition video camera to record the historical changes of society and the era of lumpy for 20 years. Since her novel "Worried Life" accomplished with one effort in 1987, Li Chi began her enthusiasm for "City and People" in writing. These years, Li Chi's book can be described as voluminous research. But people who researched the aspect of "City and People" were so little. They often seized the author's tend to write a creative phase of the analysis, or to intercept a certain category of characters for analysis. But such researches were clearly ignore the regional research, and also difficult to fully display the framework and link between city and people. In view of this, I chose "Wuhan, Cityï¹ person" in terms of Li Chi's works. It will be the blending research with city, author and the works, not the simple addition of local history, authors, and textual analysis. With this kind of vision, we could look beyond the author's creative background, literary production environment, and the organic integration of city spirit and human spirit. As a female writer, Li Chi is good at using "gentle thought" to pay attention to the land she lives. With a delicate, gentle vision, she chooses the regional style to perform, which makes the originally relatively stable and the aesthetic objects will invade the regional customs. It runs a woman's unique aesthetic vision and passion of life, becoming personalized carrier of culture. At the same time, Li Chi also used to focus on the geographical perspective the lives of women and the customs associated with women. So we have found that the "female consciousness" in her works is particularly strong. As to the subject matter, Li Chi not only skills in the introduction and describe the lives of women related to marriage and reproductive folk, but also to the ideological tendencies. She often manifested in compliment and praise for the women. For men, Li Chi seems to have a natural "bias". In Li Chi's works, we find her male characters are mostly flat image, with personality defects. Even if there are several "real men", they are mostly designed to foil the image of women. From this perspective, the creative concept of Li Chi also has some limitations, she seems to have a preconceived "women are superior to men of base" mindset.Li Chi takes the writing perspective firmly locked in Wuhan, the piece of strange land. With the regional cultural identity and the historical description, she makes the readers enjoy an increase in vivid genre painting and still felt the political economy of modern pulsation in its development process. Her works melt reality, vulgarity, humor, exaggeration and sentiment on the whole, which performs the Wuhan tempered under the vicissitudes of life, and reveals the fresh and vibrant and the vitality of civil society in Wuhan. The attitude to the worried life and the courage of struggling in the difficult years, with the strong soul sinking in large cold out of hot climate intertwine, creating some vivid public images. This paper is divided into five parts. Introduction describes the background of the stage Li Chi boarded the literature. The first chapter, combined with the details of the works to show the customs, historical anecdotes, to investigate the human shape of the city. The second and the third chapters are for text interpretation and the characters analysis, to study the growth in the city, reflecting the people's active role. And the conclusion is on the outline "city and affection of Wuhan". This paper links closely the image of "Wuhan" to analyze, making fictions as a carrier to research the interdependence between the city and the people.
